A small team, shipping serious systems.
Founded in 2021 in Kyoto, ReimeiTech is a small senior studio building production AI, SaaS, and integration software — the engineering done once, properly, and judged by outcomes rather than output.
Most software gets built twice — once badly, then again when it can't keep up. We'd rather build it once, and properly. That belief is the whole company: a small group of senior engineers who'd rather do fewer things and stand behind every one of them.
Named for the daybreak.
Reimei means daybreak — the moment things begin. We took the name in 2021, in Kyoto, because that's what good software is for: the quiet start of something that runs for years.
We began small and stayed that way on purpose. No offshore handoffs, no junior bench, no growth for its own sake — just senior engineers who take a problem from the first plan to production and stay close to what they ship. Patient, exacting, and a little understated: the qualities Kyoto is known for, applied to systems.
Six things we won't compromise on.
Outcomes over output
A pile of features isn't progress. We agree the number that matters up front and measure against it.
Build it once, properly
Solid foundations, honest testing, and code the next person can read — so it doesn't get rebuilt in a year.
Senior hands only
Every line is written by someone who's shipped before. No learning on your budget, no offshore handoff.
Honest about trade-offs
We'll tell you when AI is the wrong tool, when scope should shrink, and what we'd do differently.
Ship to production
Work that lives in a demo doesn't count. We take it the whole way — deployed, monitored, and real.
Calm over hype
No buzzword theatre. Just the unglamorous engineering that keeps a system fast, safe, and awake at 3am.
Bright rooms, green things, quiet focus.
The rest of the picture.
Build something that lasts.
Tell us the outcome you're after and the constraints you're under. We'll tell you honestly whether we're the right team — and if we are, we'll build it once, properly.
